A dropout?
Don't panic!
Your event is up and running, the big day is approaching, and one of the participants decides to pull out (yes, it happens at this time of year!)?
Don't panic, we now have a solution. Go to Track my events and the Event details then choose Remove a last-minute participant. You will then be able to choose the participant to remove. There are 2 main possible situations:
- The absent participant has already been drawn by another participant: in this case, the person who drew them will receive a new draw (an email with an invitation to draw again will be sent to them immediately)
- The absent participant has not yet been drawn: this is the ideal situation, they will be removed and there will be no visible impact for the other participants
A few limitations to be aware of, however:
- If the participant drew the person who was supposed to give them a gift (which can happen in some situations), it will not be possible to remove them and they will be grayed out in the list.
- This feature is only available if your event is set up for 1 draw per participant (over 99% of cases).
